Who am I?

Who am I? Most of us inevitably encounter this question in some shape or form, how would you go about answering it?

To take this to an even deeper level, how would you answer this question without anchoring to any of the roles that you’ve taken on (e.g., father, mother, doctor, banker, etc.) or your achievements.

If you’re unsure or feeling overwhelmed by this, trust me… you are not alone. This is one of the most difficult questions that we can face, yet can provide so much power and freedom to our lives.

Through my coaching experience, I’ve found that a helpful perspective is to start by thinking about how other people would describe you (Tip: try writing this out with pen and paper, it helps):

  • [Inner Circle] How would your partner / family / close friends describe you?

  • [Middle Circle] How would your coworkers describe you?

  • [Outer Circle] How would strangers describe you?

Once you’ve gone through each area, notice the patterns or themes beginning to emerge. What are they telling you about yourself?

As for myself: I am a compassionate guide in this world, who provides a safe place for others to discover themselves and their potential.
